The Selmer SAS511 alto saxophone brings the legendary Selmer Paris tone to intermediate players. With the same hand-adjusted neck and premium brass body as professional models, the SAS511 produces a rich, complex sound that punches above its class. Its iconic design takes inspiration from vintage Selmer saxophones, featuring post-to-rib construction and a one-piece, hand-hammered bell for incredible resonance. The SAS511 comes in four beautiful lacquer and plating finishes with ornate engraving. For fast passages and demanding solos, it has a light key action with blue steel springs and ergonomic enhancements like an adjustable thumb rest and tilting table keys. The sax goes through Selmer's 3-phase tone hole leveling process for excellent pad seating and stability. To protect the SAS511, a rugged nylon case with backpack straps is included.
