The MXR M307 Layers delay effects pedal gives you lush, organic sustain that enhances every note you play. Designed for both casual players and tonal perfectionists, the Layers Delay offers versatile controls that expand your instrument's creative potential. Packed into a standard MXR housing, its features allow you to craft chord voicings you never thought possible, write transcendent melodies, build harmonic textures and infuse your playing with evocative depth.
Holds on to Your Tone
The Layers Delay confers its sustain and decay to up to three layers, each indicated by an LED. First choose between running a single layer or up to three. Layers can activate via the footswitch or your pick dynamics. With the footswitch, simply play a note or chord and hold the switch?releasing it fades the layer as set by the Decay knob. This is ideal for soloing over drone accompaniments. You can also trigger layers automatically based on your attack, as adjusted with the Trig knob. Blend these methods for complex sound stacking: with Single mode off, hold a layer with the footswitch and auto-trigger more layers over top.
Straightforward, Powerful Controls
The Layers Delay provides an intuitive set of controls to shape your layers. The Mix knob adjusts the wet signal level, controlling your layers' volume. The Trig knob sets the pedal's auto-trigger sensitivity, allowing new layers based on your pick intensity. The Attack knob modifies each layer's fade-in, while the Decay knob sets its fade-out, emulating a string's natural vibration by decaying high frequencies first. Engage the Sub Oct switch to drop one or more layers an octave for a huge subterranean vibe.
