For deeper, fatter tones, the 16-ply 14x6.5' and 14x8' models emphasize darker low-end resonance and a softer attack, thanks to eight plies of mahogany and a soft 30-degree bearing edge. Each drum is finished in a stunning gloss lacquer and outfitted with Tilco snare wires, 2.5 mm triple-flanged hoops, and Gretsch's newly designed full range throw-off and butt plate, ensuring both aesthetic beauty and exceptional performance.
