The AAA rosewood fingerboard is paired with a rifle-sawn maple neck, providing smooth playability and a rich, full sound. The guitar’s nitrocellulose lacquer finish allows the wood to resonate fully, giving you a warm, open tone that improves with time. Authentic Electronics for Vintage-Inspired Tones
The Custom Shop 1963 Telecaster is equipped with custom electronics that deliver the legendary Tele tone. In the neck, it features a Josefina hand-wound humbucker, offering rich, warm tones with plenty of body. The bridge houses a hand-wound 50-51 Blackguard single-coil, providing the classic Tele twang with punchy articulation. Paired with a 3-way selector switch and a modern Tele control assembly, these pickups cover a wide range of genres, from blues and rock to country and jazz.
