The EVH SA-126 Special semi-hollow electric guitar delivers a tone that breaks new ground. Designed by Wolfgang Van Halen himself, this signature model combines the warmth and resonance of a semi-hollowbody with the high-performance playability EVH is known for. Inspired by Eddie Van Halen's legendary 'Bumblebee' guitar, the shred-ready neck lets you blaze up and down the fingerboard. The basswood center block and mahogany body resonate fully to produce rich, complex tones. Visually stunning with a figured maple top, this innovative guitar gives you a versatile voice to forge your own sound.
A Neck Built for Speed
The SA-126's neck profile emulates the iconic 'Bumblebee' guitar, offering a thin yet wide shredder neck ideal for fast playing. Made of smooth maple, the neck glides under your fingers for liquid legato runs and tapping passages. The ebony fingerboard adds warmth while providing a slick surface. With 22 jumbo frets, you have ample room to explore the upper registers. The SA-126 delivers high performance in a striking semi-hollow package.
Resonant Tonewood Body
At the heart of the SA-126's expansive voice is its tonewood body. The basswood center block, hand-selected by Eddie Van Halen himself, resonates fully to produce rich lows and a throaty midrange.
